Representatives from Australia, Germany and ILO were also present as observers. Feb 14, 1998	Chiang Mai, Thailand	At the 1st ASSA Board Meeting, Prof. Dr. Awaloedin Djamin (Indonesian National Social Security Association) was elected as the first ASSA Chairman and Tan Sri.
