At the 1st ASSA Board Meeting, Prof. Dr. Awaloedin Djamin (Indonesian National Social Security Association) was elected as the first ASSA Chairman and Tan Sri. Sallehuddin bin Mohamed (Employees Provident Fund, Malaysia) was elected as the Vice-Chairman of ASSA.
